- The Cardinals have purchased the contract of infielder Brock Peterson from the Bridgeport Bluefish, the Atlantic League team announced. The slugger, who posted a .293/.376/.563 slash line with 21 homers for Bridgeport this season, has been assigned Triple-A Memphis.
